Sometimes I am astonished at the cruelty of people that I consider my friends and people in general. Amy Winehouse has not even been declared dead for three hours. To put it in to perspective her body is still warm and already there are jokes and jibes……. (they tried to make her go to rehab). Think about it people, if it were your daughter, sister, niece, mother, lover, loved one, how would you feel about reading these jokes? Or perhaps if you just give a shit about other human beings rather than you and yours, especially ones that are troubled souls? This woman was mentally vulnerable. Has the world gone so far down the detached, complacent rabbit hole that we are void of emotion, sympathy or empathy? I am sickened by the blatant carelessness and wickedness of people. And to think that I thought the press were blood sucking evil b’stards. I am ashamed of my fellow human beings and you should be ashamed of yourselves too for thinking “she’s a disposable junkie therefore it’s ok she’s dead, she deserved it and it’s funny”. Really? Soulless, just soulless.
